Fraudulent land mutation at Dimoria!

DIMORIA, Oct 2: Beware of fraudulent mutation of lands! Frauds and land grabbers are on the prowl.

An RTI application submitted to the Sopur Revenue Circle Officer has led to the revelation that a number of plots of land have been fraudulently mutated in the mes of others. The people in the Dimoria area are shaky as they may not know if their lands are fraudulently mutated by others in their mes. They have been demanding a high-level inquiry into the incident as to expose the person or persons involved in the crimes.

Acting on an RTI application submitted by Hitesh Talukdar, a resident of Baruahbari, the Sopur Revenue Circle Office conducted an inquiry and found the fraudulent mutation of lands. According to allegations, at Baruahbari Village Under Panbari Mouza in Sopur Revenue Circle Office the lands under Patta No. 1 Daag No. 114 has been mutated in the mes of Dilip Roy and Monimohan Sen, Daag No. 252 in the me of Motilal Chakravarty, Daag No. 103 in the me of Radha-Madan Gopal Sebashram and Daag No 193 in the me of Bhado Lalong.  All the plots of land are under FC Grant of Baruahbari village. Though the land mutation has been shown to have done, the Sopur Revenue Circle has no records of the mutation of the lands, nor any hukums (magisterial orders) for mutations. In the case of the mutation of the land in the same of Radha-Madan Gopal Sebashram, the me of Sri Sadanda Das is there, but there has been no hukum (magisterial order) for the mutation of land.

With such a startling revelation, Revenue Circle Officer Munindra Ngate said that an inquiry in this regard is going on. The incident needs a high-level inquiry so as to ascertain who the persons are and how the crimes have been committed. The local people of Dimoria also demanded a high-level inquiry into the incident and punishment to the culprits.
