GUWAHATI, May 31: A good show by Happy Child School of the city in the HSLC examition this year as it did last year.

According to results made available by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) today, three of the 132 students of the school who took to the HSLC examition this year made it to the top 20 merit list. They are Niharika Agarwal (16th), Manish Jha (17th) and Nischal Jain (18th). Among the rest, while 65 students got distinction and 42 got star marks.

Sharing his reaction to The Sentinel, Manish Jha said he wants to undergo aeroutic engineering. He is going to take admission in Cotton College in science stream.

Though Niharika and Nischal could not be contacted, their parents told The Sentinel that both of them would undergo medical science.      

Meanwhile, school's Principal Soma Mukherjee said: "The secret of success of the students of her school is the combined efforts on the part of the teachers and awareness on the part of the parents."
