Vitamin B12:

Research has revealed that an average person loses almost 100 strands of hair on a daily basis. However, the majority of those affected by Covid, are now losing over 300-400 strands.

If you are a meat eater, include lamb liver and kidneys in your meal as they are rich in Vit B-12. Those, who are vegetarians, can include a lot of milk and dairy products in their meal to compensate for the loss of B-12.

Vitamin D:

Not many know but Vitamin D works as a booster for voluminous hair. One of the easiest ways to replenish the loss of Vitamin D in your body is through sunlight. Also known as sunlight vitamin, this acts as a medicine for good hair. One can also buy over-the-counter cod liver oil for daily consumption. Fish, fortified cereals, and fortified orange juice are some of the other sources of Vitamin D.

Oiling and steaming:

Since your hair has been through a lot, regular oiling and massaging with coconut oil will improve blood circulation and blood flow to the roots. Steaming or using a warm wet towel for steaming will also improve the quality of hair.

Apart from this, avoid food that is too salty or spicy. Avoiding smoking and drinking soon after Covid can also help boost Covid after-effects, one of them being hair fall.
