MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has increased his involvement in cricket by acquiring a second franchise in the T10 league, which is now regarded as the game's quickest version.
The Harare Hurricanes cricket team has recently been added to Sanjay Dutt's varied business portfolio. The T10 league, known for its exhilarating cricket action, is made even more exciting by this addition. The fastest version of the game, the Zimbabwe T10 format, is becoming more and more popular while the Indian Premier League (IPL) continues to be the most watched cricket league competition.
The Harare Hurricanes, a new Sanjay Dutt team, will play in the Zim T10 cricket league. He will jointly own the team in this endeavour with Sohan Roy, the CEO and Founder of the Aries Group of Companies. It's important to note that this is Sanjay Dutt's second attempt to purchase a cricket team.
It is anticipated that the purchase agreement for the Harare Hurricanes was a multi-crore agreement. Sanjay Dutt had previously bought a cricket team in the Pakistani cricket league. Lahore Qalandars is the name of his first cricket team.
Five independently owned teams will compete for the championship in the league, which marks franchise cricket's first excursion into Zimbabwe. The Durban Qalandars, CapeTown Samp Army, Bulawayo Braves, and Joburg Lions will be the other four teams.
The actor has launched a Scotch whisky called The Glenwalk and invested in the alcohol firm Cartel & Bros. Manesh and Mokksh Sani of Living Liquidz, one of India's leading liquor retail chains, Jittin S. Merani of Drinq Bar Academy, and Rohan Nihalani, owner of Morgan Beverages, are partners in the company that seeks to import and retail liquor brands into India. Timing is really important.
