Google services including Gmail, Google meet, Google drive down across the world

New Delhi: Google services, which includes Gmail, Youtube, Google Drive, Google contacts, Google meet, Google photo, Google Duo, Google hangout, Google my business, Google play store are down around the world as millions of users have complained about it. The problem started around 5.26 PM (Indian Standard Time) and 11.56 GMT. Downdetector confirmed the outage happening across the across.

As per Downdetector website, almost all of the Google services are affected. However, Google is yet to officially comment on the issue. Downdetector shows around 9,000 cases, which have been reported by the users around the world for having issues accessing YouTube and various other Google services.

Downdetector showed that more than 12,000 YouTube users were affected across the world. However, YouTube is working for some users in the incognito mode.

When one tried to access YouTube, they were given a reply: "We are aware that many of you are having issues accessing YouTube right now – our team is aware and looking into it. We'll update you here as soon as we have more news.

Google Docs also showed a message to the user, "Google Docs encountered an error. Please try reloading this page, or coming back to it in a few minutes. To learn more about the Google Docs editors, please visit our help center. We're sorry for the inconvenience."

Many Google users also saw the message, "502. That's an error. The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request. Please try again in 30seconds. That's all we know."

However, all of the services were restored by 6.03 PM. The cause of the outage is yet to be known.
