You can consider it as bad luck or mistake of the person or you may not want to believe the incident. But it really happened with Arun Singh, an Indian national who lives in Dubai. On March 22, an Emirates flight took the Indians to homes who were staying in Dubai due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. This was the last flight from Dubai to India. Hence, like many others who also resided in Dubai, 37-year-old Singh reached the Dubai airport in the post-midnight on March 22 to return to home. But unfortunately, he fell asleep. The slumber had failed him to catch the flight. The flight left the airport at 4am. As such, he was compelled to remain stranded at the (at the terminal-3) at the airport. But his misfortune has not ended here as the Dubai authority refused to grant him permission to stay there as a precautionary measure to prevent the contamination of the coronavirus. The authority has cancelled his visa. Singh, a resident of Pune, works for an IT company in Dubai. He termed the incident as ‘honest mistake’.
