Chester (United Kingdom): As shocking as it sounds, a 30-year-old nurse from Chester Hospital in the United Kingdom killed as many as eight newborn babies. She was arrested on November 10 and appeared at the Warrington Magistrates' Court on November 12 through video conferencing. The accused nurse, Letby has also attempted to kill another 10, however she failed in her plans.

Letby was earlier arrested in the years 2018 and 2019 as a part of an inquiry into the deaths at the neonatal care unit of the Chester Hospital. The young nurse is charged with the murder of babies who were born between June 2015 to 2016 at the hospital. She was also charged on the grounds of non-fatal collapses.

Letby is from Arran Avenue, Hereford.

Letby graduated as a nurse in the year 2011 from Chester University. She first started working at the Liverpool Women's Hospital. Letby's colleague, however, were shocked by her news and said that she was a 'complete professional' and always worked hard. A friend of hers said that Letby was so kind that she would not even hurt a fly.

A few of her neighbours said that the news is really shocking. Letby has always been considered and remembered as someone kind and nice.

Although police have said they have enough evidence that says Letby killed the babies, they have not given the exact reasons behind their arrests. The further investigation of the case underway.
