MOSCOW: Russian anti-corruption agency has found a gold toilet and other pricy items in the residence of a suspended police officer during its raid.
The police officer was placed under suspension after he was found taking bribes for issuing motor permits to some businessman.
According to reports, the anti-corruption agency officials carried out a raid in the residence of the tainted police officer a day ago. His residence is also like a mansion, said an official.

Investigators say Safonov and his accomplices used to extort money from local drivers and sell passes to truck drivers to bypass safety checks.
They also used to sell fancy number plates. Besides Safonov, 6 more members have been arrested. These include current and former traffic inspectors as well. It is being told that they can be jailed for up to 15 years.
During their raid in his residence in North Caucasus, they discovered a gold toilet apart from other luxuries which unmatched his income.
The suspended police officer identified as Alexi Safonov earlier headed the traffic police branch of the Stavropol region.
Officials revealed that Safonov has been arrested for his involvement with corrupt practices.
"We have discovered a gold toilet in his mansion. The mirror of his bathroom was also gold coated. We have also confiscated other luxuries from his residence", an official said.
It is to be noted that corrupt practices among Russian government officials have been increasing leaps and bounds.
