Indian Army is looking for interested and eligible candidates of all districts of Meghalaya for the posts of Soldier at Assam Regimental Centre, Happy Valley Shillong.

Age Limit: 17.5 to 23 years

Qualification: Soldier General Duty: Class 10th/Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% marks in each subject. For Boards following grading system minimum of D Grade (33-40) in individual subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.

Soldier Technical (Nursing Assistant): 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks aggregate and 40% marks in each subject or 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics,

Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and English with minimum 50% marks aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.

Soldier Technical: 10+2/Intermediate Examination pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Math and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.

Soldier Clk/SKT: 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, and Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% marks in each subject.

Securing 50% in English and Math/Account/Book Keeping in class 12th is mandatory.

Soldier Tradesman 10 th Pass: Class 10th Simple Pass. No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.

Soldier Tradesman 08th Pass: Class 08th Simple Pass (for Syce, House Keeper and Mess Keeper). No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum of 33% in each subject.

Selection Process: The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the:

Physical Fitness Test

Physical Measurement

Medical Test

Written Test through Common Entrance Examination.

Application Procedure: Army Recruitment Rally will be held for eligible candidates of all districts of Meghalaya from 04 May 2020 to 06 May 2020 at Assam Regimental Centre, Happy Valley Shillong. Online registration is mandatory and will be open from 05 March 2020 to 18 April 2020. Admit Cards for the rally will be sent through registered e-mail from 19 April 2020m to 03 May 2020.
