North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) Job Recruitment Notification 2021

The Department of English, North-Eastern Hill University ( NEHU), Tura is inviting applications from eligible candidates for two Guest Lecturers in the Department of English on purely temporary basis. Desirous candidates can check all the job details of no of posts, age limit, salary, qualification, etc prescribed below:

Educational Qualification and Eligibility Criteria for Guest Lecturers Vacancy:

i. M.A. in English with at least 55% (for Gen) and 50% (for SC/ST)

ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the Candidate must have cleared the NET/ SLET/SET

iii. Candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of PhD Degree) Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for Recruitment.

Desirable: Experience in Teaching

Selection Procedure for Guest Lecturers Vacancy:

1. The remuneration would be as per UGC rules.
2. The applications should reach the office of the undersigned latest by 24th September, 2021.
3. The date of interview for the said post will be informed only to the shortlisted candidates through email or over phone.
4. The candidates appearing at the interview will not be entitled to any TA/DA.
5. Candidates are requested to bring their original documents at the time of interview.
