Tremendous ground work has been done to bring about a paradigm shift in the approach to poverty alleviation and bring about self reliance in the rural areas.

Educational and Other Qualification:

• The applicant should be a retired State Civil Service Officer not below the rank of Joint Secretary.
• The applicant should have experience in working with people and communities
• The applicant should have experience in implementing developmental programmes
• The applicant should not be a member of a political party
• The applicant must be physically active and capable of conducting field tours, inspections and visits to remote rural locations in all the four districts
