About ADP College Nagaon : Anandaram Dhekial Phookan College is a seat of learning that was established in 1959. It is named after Anandaram Dhekial Phookan, an illustrious son of Assam, who struggled hard to establish the fact about the excellence of Assamese language and who desired all along to see a prosperous, beautiful Assam. The college caters for higher education needs of an educationally backward district of Assam like Nagaon as well as of the State situated in a serene atmosphere away from the din and bustle of town life, though within the town, the college offers an ideal surrounding dotted with green, luxuriant and foliage for teaching-learning atmosphere.
