Age Limit: 45 - 55 years.

Educational Qualification: At least Second class M.A in Modern Indian History and having one-year diploma in Archival Science from National Archives of India, New Delhi. Preference will be given to those having M.Phil or Ph.D in History.

Work Experience: At least 6 years experience in the rank of Archivist or in similar higher capacity in this line in any Archival Institution. Preference will be given to the departmental candidates who have 8 years of experiences in Archival management in any Govt. Archival Organization. Experience in Archival Planning/Schemes.

Pay-Scale: Rs. 30,000-1,10,000/-

Selection Process

The shortlisted candidates will be selected through an appropriate mode of selection as and when decided by the Authority.

Application Process

Interested candidates having requisite qualification are required to download the application form from the Official Website and send the duly filled application form along with self-attested copies of Original Treasury Challan, Age proof certificate, Certificates & mark sheets of all examinations, Two copies of recent passport size photograph, etc. to the "Deputy Secretary, APSC, Jawaharnagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-781022" on or before 12th June 2020. Candidates are also required to pay a fee of Rs. 250/- through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account "NON TAX REVENUE, OTHER NON TAX REVENUE 0051 PSC, 105 STATE PSC APPLICATION FEE RECEIPT OF APSC" showing the name of post and department. Original copy of Treasury Challan should be submitted along with the application form.
