Candidates desirous of applying for these posts must obtain NET/SLET/SET qualifications as mandatory eligibility conditions. Candidates having a PhD degree as per the UGC Regulations 2009 will be exempted from NET/SLET/SET requirements. The candidates must have minimum 55% marks at the Master's degree level in the concerned subject. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided to SC / ST/ PWD candidates. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided to PhD holders who have obtained their Master's degree prior to 19th September 1991. The candidates have to acquire qualifications as on the last date for submitting applications. No additional qualifications / published papers/ books chapter etc. obtained after the last date of application shall be considered.
Applications in prescribed format ( available in DHE Assam's website and College website https://www.avcollege.ac.in/ ) with complete biodata and self attested copies of all testimonials from HSLC (10th standard) onwards must be accompanied by a non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 2000/- only drawn in favour of Principal, Arya Vidyapeeth College, Guwahati-16 payable at Guwahati. Applications must reach the Principal, Arya Vidyapeeth College, Guwahati-16 on or before 27th January 2021.
