1/ Post Name: Assistant Research Engineer

No of Vacancies: 01

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering, secured minimum 55% marks or minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (MCGPA) of 3.00 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scales at the Master’s degree level in disciplines of Agril. Structure & Process Engineering (AS&PE) / Post Harvest Engineering & Tech. /Process & Food Engineering from any Indian or foreign university.

Pay Scale: 15,600 /-to 39,100 /-with Grade Pay Rs. 6,000/-

2/Post Name: Junior Scientist

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering / Mech. Engg, Secured minimum 55% marks or minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (MCGPA) of 3.00 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scales at the Master’s degree level in disciplines of Agril. Structure & Process Engineering (AS&PE) / Energy Engg. from any Indian or foreign university.

Pay Scale: 15,600/-to 39,100 with Grade Pay Rs. 6,000/-

3/Post Name: Food Technologist

Qualification: Passed Bachelor of Science Degree in any discipline of science. Secured minimum 55% marks or minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (MCGPA) of 3.00 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scale at the Master’s degree level in disciplines of Food Science & Tech / Food Engineering & Tech. / Process & Food Engineering / Dairy & Food Engineering / Food Technology from any Indian or foreign university.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600 to Rs. 39,100 with Grade Pay Rs. 6,000/- (Pre-revised)

Post Name: Biochemist

Qualification: Passed Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture, Secured minimum 55% marks or minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (MCGPA) of 3.00 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scales at the Master’s degree level in the discipline of Bio-Chemistry and Agril. Chemistry from an Indian or a foreign university.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600 to Rs. 39,100 with Grade Pay Rs. 6,000/- (Pre-revised)

Age Limit: 38 years.

Application Procedure: Application form in the prescribed format is to be submitted to the Registrar, AAU, and Jorhat on or before March 25 / 2020, A self-addressed stamped (worth Rs.6/- envelope size 23 cm x 10 cm should be sent along with the application form, application fee is to be deposited at Powerjyoti Account of the University lying with the State Bank of India, AAU Jorhat Branch (A/c No. 33019714091). For payment, a challan copy may be downloaded from the University website and fee-paid Challan copy is to be enclosed along with the application form. The prescribed fee is Rs. 300/- in case of general candidates sand Rs. 150/- in case of SC/ST/PH candidates.
