Age Limit

The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2021. The upper age limit is relaxable:
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates.
(iii) For Persons with Disability (PWD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidate.

Educational qualification

Exploration Officer (Grade-II)

Candidate must be Post Graduate Degree holder in Ancient Indian History or Archaeology or Sanskrit or Anthropology with Pre-History as one of the subjects.
(ii) Desirable Qualification: Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology from any Govt. recognized Institute.

Asstt. Research Officer /Asstt. Planning Officer

Candidate shall have 2nd Class Masters Degree in any of the following subjects from a reputed University viz: Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, Business Management, Business Administration, Sociology, Social Work, Anthropology, Social Anthropology.
