Directorate of Technical Education, Assam is looking for eligible candidates Junior Assistant, Junior Instructor, Scientific Assistant, and Grade-IV in newly established Polytechnics of Tinsukia, Morigaon, Chirang, Udalguri and Hailakandi.

1/ Post Name: Junior Assistant

No of post: 15

Qualification: Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognised University or any Examination declared equivalent by the Govt. Must possess Computer Skills & proficiency for handling data and text on computer.

Salary: Rs.14000 – Rs.60500 with Grade pay of Rs.6200.

2/ Post Name: Junior Instructor

No of post: 25

Qualification: Passed HSLC or TSLC and having Certificate from ITI or equivalent in appropriate trade with 5 years of experience in the relevant trade. The experience must be from Govt. recognized organization.

Salary: Rs.14000 – Rs.60500 with Grade pay of Rs.6800.

3/Post Name: Scientific Assistant

No of post: 10

Qualification: Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Preference will be given to candidates having Major/ Honours in Degree level.

Salary: Rs.14000 – Rs.60500 with Grade pay of Rs.7400.

4/Post Name: Grade-IV (Bearer, Peon, Chowkidar, Workshop Jugali etc.)

No of Post: 55

Qualification: Candidates who have passed Class VIII are eligible.

Salary: Rs.12,000 – Rs.52,000 with Grade pay of Rs.3,900.

Age Limit: Candidates must not be less than 18 years and more than 38 years of age on 1st January 2020.

Scan copy of the proof of PRC of Assam (Voter ID/PRC), qualifying examinations, Age, Caste, etc. proof, recent passport size photograph and specimen signature.
