The Commissionerate of Panchayat & Rural Development (PNRD) Assam has recently published a job notification for the recruitment of Drivers in the office of the Zilla Parishads of Biswanath, Charaideo, Hojai, Majuli and South Salmara.. Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria for Driver:

To be suitable for the advertised post of Driver in PNRD Assam, candidates must have at least passed HSLC Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board / Council of Government of Assam. Intending candidate should have a valid professional Driving License preferably LMV category

How to Apply for PNRD Job Opening:

Candidates having essential qualifications are advised to apply online for the above vacancy through the website https://rural.assam.gov.in/ w.e.f. 11 AM of 14.02.2021 till midnight of 05.03.2021

Selection Procedure for Driver:

The selection Process will comprise of two phases:

In phase-I : Candidates whose applications are accepted shall appear in the Written Test on Driving Knowledge on Traffic Rules & Traffic Signals that is going to be held at Dist. Head Quarter of Biswanath, Charaideo, Hojai, Majuli and South Salmara Dist. on the date to be notified later on. As per update, the Driving Knowledge on Traffic Rules & Traffic Signals will consist of 100 marks

In the second phase, candidates who are shortlisted in the written test shall have to appear along with all original testimonials in the Driving Skill Test to be held at Dist. Headquarter of Biswanath, Charaideo, Hojai, Majuli and South Salmara Dist on a date to be notified later on. It is to be noted that the Driving Test will be of 100 marks.
