Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) Recruitment 2020

Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 48 LDA, MTS, Scientist 'B', Data Entry Operator and other posts.

1. Scientist 'B'

No of posts: 13 [SC-2, ST-1, OBC-3, EWS-3, UR-4]

Pay: Level-10 in Pay Matrix (Rs.56,100-1,77,500/-)

Age: Up to 35 years as on the last date. Relaxation as per rule.

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or Institution in Civil/Chemical/Environmental– 10 posts, Mechanical - 01post and Mining – 01 post.

- Master's Degree in Natural/Agricultural Sciences from a recognized University or Institution – 01 post

2. Junior Scientific Assistant

No of posts: 02 [EWS-1, UR-1]

Pay: Level-6 in Pay Matrix (Rs.35,400-1,12,400/-)

Age: Up to 30 years as on the last date. Relaxation as per rule.

Educational Qualification: A degree in science with 4 years of experience in the line, preferably in pollution control or related subjects.

3. Senior Technician

No of posts: 06 [OBC-1, UR-5]

Pay: Level-6 in Pay Matrix (Rs.35,400-1,12,400/-)

Age: Up to 30 years as on the last date. Relaxation as per rule.

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Instrumentation (04 posts) / Diploma in Electronic (01 post)/ Diploma in Mechanical (01 post)

4. Data Entry Operator (Grade-II)

No of posts: 02 [OBC-1, UR-1]

Pay: Level-4 in Pay Matrix (Rs.25,500-81,100/-)

Age: Between 18 and 25 years as on the last date. Relaxation as per rule.

Educational Qualification:

(a) 12th standard pass or equivalent, from a recognized Board / University .

(b) should possess a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry work.

5. Junior Technician

No of posts: 02 (UR)

Pay: Level-4 in Pay Matrix (Rs.25,500-81,100/-)

Age: Between 18 and 25 years as on the last date. Relaxation as per rule.

Educational Qualification:

(a) 10th class pass from a recognized Board/ Institution

(b) Certificate from ITI in Mechanical trade

(c) 3 years of experience in servicing laboratory machines in an organization / institution of repute.

6. Junior Laboratory Assistant

No of posts: 07* [SC-1, OBC-1, EWS-3, UR-2]

Pay: Level-2 in Pay Matrix (Rs.19,900-63,200/-)

Age: Between 18 and 25 years as on the last date. Relaxation as per rule.

Educational Qualification: 12th class pass with Science subjects from a recognized Board / University.

7. Lower Division Clerk

No of posts: 13** [SC-2, ST-1, OBC-3, EWS-1, UR-6]

Pay: Level-2 in Pay Matrix (Rs.19,900-63,200/-)

Age: Between 18 and 25 years as on the last date. Relaxation as per rule.

Educational Qualification:

(a) Bachelor's degree from a recognized University

(b) Typing speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi.

8. Attendant (MTS)

No of posts: 03 [OBC-1, EWS-2]

Pay: Level-2 in Pay Matrix (Rs.18,000-56,900/-)

Age: Between 18 and 25 years as on the last date. Relaxation as per rule.

Educational Qualification: 8th Standard Pass from a recognized school.

* Out of 07 Posts of JLA, 03 posts are reserved for Ex-servicemen.

** Out of 13 posts of LDC, 01 Post of reserved for Ex-servicemen, 01 for PwBD (Blindness & Low Vision) and 01 for PwBD (Deaf and Hard of Hearing).

Note: Posts carry All India Service Liability.
