Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) is the cadre controlling authority of Medical Cadre of CISF and NDRF Bns. Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) proposes to engage General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs) for CISF and NDRF BNs in various locations/formations throughout the country (purely on contract basis)

Qualifications for the posts of GDMOs are as under: A recognised medical qualification included in the first or Second Schedule of Part II of the Third Schedule (other than that licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the 'Third Schedules should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Age: All doctors appointed will not continue on the post once he/she reaches 70 years of age

Medical Examination:- Candidates will be medically examined by a board of Medical Officers detailed for the purpose. Appointment will be subject to medical fitness. The candidates should read all the information carefully before appearing in the walk-in-interview.
