North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for two vacant posts of Psychologists purely on contractual basis under the project entitled "Dementia Science Programme : Incidence / Prevalance / Risk / Intervention analysis of dementia and basic research thereof " under the sponsorship of DBT in collaboration with INCLEN Trust International, New Delhi.

Educational Qualification for The Psychologist Job Post

Graduate in Psychology from UGC recognized University

At least 2 years work experience ( related to psychology)

Proficiency in Khasi and English

Readiness to reside in Mawphlang

Desirable Skill of NEIGRIHMS Job Applicant

Higher academic training (MPhil, PhD etc)

Training / Experience in Clinical Psychology ( esp. relevant to Dementia or Elderly)

Experience in field implementation of projects and involvement in primary community based data collection activities

Sound knowledge of research methodology

Publications in peer reviewed journals

Experience of handling electronic data capture and its related processes.
