Send Gandhis into exile!

It is sad that a grand old party like the Congress has crumbled like rubble. It got decimated in totality. After this latest debacle, Sonia Gandhi should not have wasted a moment to resign from the presidentship of the party. That is not all; the trio should quit all positions of the party and vanish from the scene with lock, stock and barrel for some years of their own. If they do not do so, real Congressmen should force Gandhis into exile! It is laughable that the 'charismatic lady' could garner only two seats. No hope with the Gandhis. It is for sure that no one can remove BJP from power till Gandhis are at the helm of affairs of the Congress party. Perhaps Sonia has been expecting some miracle to happen and by default one of her siblings would occupy the highest position of the country within her lifetime. And her Utopian thoughts have harmed the party badly. The presence of Gandhis is the real cause for the downfall of the party. The BJP also knows it well and as such they are not taking them seriously. Seemingly, some Congressmen in the inner circle are acting as saboteurs by insisting that the Gandhis should remain at the helm of affairs of the Congress, despite all odds. The old guards in the Congress are also responsible to bring Congress to such a pass by not taking strong and rational actions in CWC meets.

In my opinion there is still a chance of revival of the party with a new leader like Sachin Pilot at the helm without Gandhis behind the scene. All well-wishers of the party should lend unequivocal support to Pilot. The sooner it is done, the better it would be for the party and the country.
