New Delhi: When it comes to buying a vehicle, often people, especially in recent times prefer SUV over the Sedan and hatchback. The reason as why people are heading towards SUV are already known by many, however, to make it precise, we will give one of the reasons for the same.
As compare to sedan and hatchback which to some extent known as city cars and easy to drive, the SUVs are anytime more capable then the latter in terms of performance both on road or off-road along with seating capacity.
While taking about the SUVs, it wouldn't fair if we don't mention the name of newly unveiled Aston Martin's SUV named DBX707 which according to reports, so far, has grabbed the title of World's most powerful SUV.
The DBX707 is powered by a 697-horsepower turbocharged V8 engine and comes with a base price of $232,000, compared to $200,000 for high-end SUVs.
Its engine is largely the same as the one in the standard 543-horsepower Aston Martin DBX. The company is also claiming to that the said SUV engine has unique tuning and its turbocharger helps the vehicle to generate more power by forcing air into the engine.
However, if we look at the other SUVs, especially the Tesla Model X Plaid which one can purchase it with a mere $126,000 but is far more powerful at 1,020 horsepower.
The DBX707 can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds and it has an all-new 9-speed ''wet clutch'' transmission. Apart from these, the 707 has also received major upgrades to its breaking, suspension and handling as it includes standard Formula One-derived carbon ceramic brakes. These brakes will definitely provide the beast-handling SUV even better.
The SUV has also got satin gloss trim, a huge quad-outlet exhaust pipes, a larger iteration of Aston Martin's signature hill-climb grille and gigantic 23 wheels.
Interestingly, the DBX707 has more power than the Lamborghini Urus as it is equipped with has a 4.0 litre V8 which can produce up to 641 horsepower. or the Bentley Bentagya speed which comes with a 626-horsepower 12-cylinder engine.
The SUV is even more powerful than the Rolls-Royce Cullinan with its 563-horsepower V12.
According to reports, the Aston Martin DBX707 will go into production by the end of March 2022 and will go on sale soon after that.
