Chhath Puja is a Hindu festival observed for 4 days each year and this year Chhath Puja Falls on Wednesday 10 November. It is believed that the festival is celebrated to worship Lord Surya with utmost sincerity and dedication towards Surya Dev.
Women across the country observe fasting on this day with the hope of getting the blessing from Lord Surya and to pay their respect and gratitude towards Lord Surya. They thank Surya Dev for providing life and energy on earth and seek blessings for their family and mainly for children.
Varieties of food items are prepared in households that are served to family and friends as Prasad. Apart from making tasty food and keeping fast during Chhath Pujah women loved to dress up in traditional attires along with Solah Shringar (Jewellery). Saree is mostly preferred by women to wear as an outfit during this festival.

Pink: Pink being auspicious to wear can give you the festive vibe during Chhath Puja as it is connected with feminity, sensitivity and charm.
Green: Green outfit surrounds positivity and it can be used in combination with other colour dresses. The colour mainly symbolizes happiness and fertility
