The southwest direction is directly connected with the owner of the house, his/her spouse and the eldest child. Any defect in this direction is bound to affect them adversely in some way or the other. We will discuss some defects and the possible remedies.
Having a main door or gate at the Southwest is not advisable at all. This is the worst entry that one can have. The energy from the Southwest is the most negative. An entrance in this direction will result in excessive expenditures and unforeseen incidents. When there is no alternative, keep the door closed as far as possible. Draw swastikas on both sides of the door/gate. Install a Rahu Yantra and use vaastu pyramids too.
There should NOT be any kind of underground water body like a borewell, underground water tank, pond, ditch or septic tank at the Southwest. If it is already there and cannot be shifted, install a Panchmukhi Hanuman Yantra at the Southwest facing the water body. Nine pyramids should be buried between the house and the water body. The top of the water tank or septic tank should be painted in red colour. However overhead water tanks are very good at the Southwest as it adds to the load in this direction. The Southwest direction should be kept loaded.
Keep heavy items like almirah, washing machine, chest of drawers or any heavy furniture at the Southwest is always good. Stones, sand or bricks etc can be kept at the Southwest corner of the compound. The loading of the Southwest will suppress the negative energy.
Ideally, there should not be a toilet at the Southwest corner. But if there is an existing toilet, keep the door closed always. Doing this prevents negative energy from entering the house.
Never extend the house towards the Southwest. Similarly, a plot should NOT have an extension to the Southwest. This will let extra negative energy into the house/plot. When there is no alternative, cut off the excess portion with copper wires or pyramids. Brass strips are also used on the walls.
DO NOT have a doorbell at the Southwest. If there is a main door at the Southwest, and a doorbell has to be kept then paint it red and install a Rahu Yantra on top of it.
The Vaastu dosh nivaran yantra
A Yantra is a specific geometrical or numerical design to worship deities and planets. Yantras are used widely to counter vaastu defects, which are basically due to the malefic effects of stars, planets or deities. Vaastu defects can occur in a house due to several factors which are already discussed here. The Vaastu dosh nivarak yantra can remove vaastu defects in the house. Though specific yantras like the Sriyantra, Kuber Yantra, Shani Yantra etc are used for specific purposes, the 'Vaastu Dosh Nivarak Yantra' acts as an overall counter measure. It can be installed by everyone irrespective of whether there are vaastu defects or not. In fact it is a combination of several yantras.
When this yantra is installed, the benefits of all nine planets are obtained.
The Vaastu Dosh Nivaran Yantra should be installed at the North on a Wednesday. This will remove all negative energy from the house.
This yantra has the power to remove Pitru Dosha (ill effects from ancestors). It provides a solution to all the troubles and negativities besides ushering prosperity, mental peace, happiness and harmony at home and the work place. This yantra is very useful for achieving deep meditation and knowledge. Vaastu dosh nivaran yantra pleases the Goddess of wealth and brings prosperity and luck.
