Vaastu Rules for the Bathroom

Utmost importance must be given to the bathroom as this is the place where one freshens up. If the bathroom produces negative energy, you cannot start the day on the right note.

Here are some rules:-

1. DO NOT use dark tiles in the bathroom. Use light coloured ones.

2. Do not fix the mirror in front of the bathroom door.

3. Geyser and other electrical items should be kept at the Southeast.

4. There should be a difference in the floor levels of the bathroom and the main house. So a threshold should be provided.

5. If a bedroom has an attached toilet, the door should be always kept closed. If it is a western styled toilet, keep the lid closed.

6. The water taps should be at the North or East only.

7. The wastewater from the bathroom should be made to flow towards the Northeast, North or East. For bathrooms located at the West and South, the wastewater should be directed first towards North or East.
