Real estate builder SM Group to fulfil aspirations of Guwahati home buyers

Guwahati: SM Group, the premier real estate builder based in Guwahati is ready with another mega project that will fulfill the aspirations of homebuyers. The well-known reality developer launched the residential project, Surya Aspire recently. The project will provide 1 BHK, 2 BHK, and 3 BHK affordable lifestyle homes to fulfill the growing demands in entire Northeast India.

Located by NH-37 at Jalukbari, Surya Aspire is spread across 1.2 acres of land, comprising of two 9-storey residential blocks. Although with an affordable price tag, the project provides spacious homes and world-class amenities. Surya Aspire has 10,000 square feet of clubhouse and lifestyle amenities, landscaped area of 30,000 square feet, and ample space for parking in the basement and the ground floor.

Adding to the solace of home-buyers, SM Group has constructed Surya Aspire under the PMAY scheme to offer subsidy benefits to homebuyers. The GST on these apartments is 1%, while buyers can avail subsidized rates of interests under PMAY-CLSS. PMAY- Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme provides interest subsidy to homebuyers from middle income to low-income home buyers.

Individuals with an annual income of Rs. 6,00,001 to Rs. 12,00,001 can avail of interest subsidy of 4% for loan amount up to Rs. 9 lakh. For buyers earning Rs. 12,00,001 to Rs. 18,00,000, the granted subsidy is 3% for loan amount up to Rs. 12 Lakh. For persons earning less than 6,00,000 per annum, an interest subsidy of 6.5% is provided for loan amount up to 6 lakhs under PMAY-CLSS.

As per CMD of SM Group Sarat Kr Jain, Surya Aspire will “successfully remove the barriers to luxury home-ownership at an affordable price in Guwahati.” He said, “We are presenting the opportunity to home buyers in North East India to enjoy the luxury of location and lifestyle amenities at a fairly affordable price”. Jain is expecting a strong response from prospective homebuyers on the launch event.

SM Group has been a key contributor to the urban landscape of Guwahati city presenting several large residential and commercial projects. The builder has successfully handed over Suryakiran – a residential project of 126 apartments in Khanamukh, Suryavilas – a luxury residential address at Kumarpara and Suryavatika– an upscale residential project at Dhirenpara with 129 apartments and penthouses, swimming pool, health club, and a banquet hall.

Other projects of SM Builders include Surya Mall and Surya Smart City at Nagaon, Surya Valley and Surya Riviera at Gangtok and also a posh premium project – Surya Vilas at Gangtok. The SM Group also owns Novotel in Guwahati and is coming up with Taj Vivanta at Shillong, stated a press release.
