People are generally classified according to their profession or occupation. A person doing trade is termed as businessman, a person relying on agriculture is farmer, a person with expertise in treating sick ones is doctor, one who relies on ideology is Buddhijivi, those earning by doing manual labour is termed Shramjivi and so on. Of late, a new professionals have cropped up in the country who are called 'Andolanjivi'. These latest breed of people earn their livelihood by participating in any form of 'andolans' across the country. One day they can become farmers and sit with the farmers and in the second minute the same persons can be seen among the crowd of labourers protesting with certain demands. These breed can camouflage in any protest easily and hijack the movement. India has a large number of such 'Andolajivis'. In our State too we have certain people who are known as 'Andolanjivis'. Their names need no mention as they are very popular ones for staging agitations for right or wrong reasons.

So, finally the two newly formed regional parties – the AJP and the Raijor Dal -- have united to contest the Assam Assembly election against against the ruling BJP. But defeating the BJP is not so easy because we are seeing that the number of BJP's supporters are growing or increasing day by day. We hope that these two regional political parties make changes in the upcoming election.

At a public meeting in Dhekiajuli, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his desire to establish vernacular medium medical and technology colleges in every state of India. He also hoped that the students of the state would be able to get education in their mother tongue through such a college. Modi's question for the people of Assam is – why can't a student become a doctor by learning in his mother tongue? Modi also hoped that the new government to be formed after the Assembly elections would set up an Assamese medium medical college in Assam. As the Prime Minister of the country has put forward this proposal, it can be expected that it will gain importance in the coming days. But it is good to hear the statement that a medical college or a college of technology will be established through the medium of mother tongue, although there are many doubts in this regard. Meanwhile, most of the prominent people of Assam have expressed doubts in this regard. According to them, how can medical science and technology be possible in mother tongue? Will it be possible to get medical and technical textbooks and other necessary and reference books in the mother tongue of the state (Assamese)? Isn't translating these books from English to the mother tongue a big challenge? Even if the textbook is translated from English, it will take a long time to understand the words. In particular, most of the technological languages ??are technical and numerical. Even with a view to the future, students will not be interested in studying medical science and technology in their mother tongue. How will those who are educated in Malayalam or Tamil languages work in Assam, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh etc.? With the same logic, how will a person educated in Assamese medium work in other States? Will these students be able to get higher education in England, the USA etc.? Many such questions have perplexed the educated community of the State.
Higher education in mother tongue must be short-sighted thinking. At the time of globalization, it is very unfortunate to think or make such a decision. This is Modi's backward and downward thinking.

All the civic bodies in Delhi should follow Ghaziabad civic body of UP for imposing a licence fee of Rs 5,000 for pet dogs apart from other regulations like compulsion of tying poop bags and taking measures that these dogs do not make public places unhygienic. If people are fond of pet dogs on lines of advanced nations, they must made to feel duty-bound like civilized people there to feel responsibility that their pet dogs do not make places dirty for others. It is quite common that rich people send their domestic helps or maids with pet dogs to excrete on roads. Any person getting caught making dogs excrete at streets or public places should not only be heavily fined but even arrested. All such steps are necessary for ambitious Clean India movement of the Prime Minister.
Also stray dogs in Delhi have become a big nuisance. The matter of stray dogs has repeatedly been a subject matter in High Courts and the Supreme Court because of frequent dog bites and spread of unhygienic conditions. In the year 2015, senior advocate Dushyant Dave was appointed as the amicus curiae by the Supreme Court. He also pleaded for the removal of about four lakh stray dogs at that time. But the plea was opposed by an NGO as according it the step will be cruelty to animals. If such NGOs are so sensitive towards stray dogs at the cost of lives of citizens, they should better open shelter houses for stray dogs. Presently civic bodies leave stray dogs back in streets after sterilizing them.

While the other countries are in the race to bring out the vaccine, India is at the forefront in this exercise to provide vaccine through the 'Vaccine Maitri' aid operation. India now has sent its shipments to the countries such as Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar, Seychelles, Kuwait, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Morocco to name a few. As also Canada has recently expressed its willingness to receive aid under this scheme.
India has thus earned the tag as the 'Pharmacy of the World' for its ability and willingness to lend an ear to other countries by supplying COVID-19 vaccines. Also, more countries are either in the pipeline or are willing to seek the support of the Indian government to procure COVID-19 vaccines for immunization of their fellow citizens.
The United Nations- the global agency for peacekeeping, should take steps to appreciate India's efforts through this 'Vaccine Maitri' operation. The gesture will enable India to stand tall with respect to the geopolitical relationship and may help to foster deep diplomatic relationships with the respective countries.

The Prime Minister appealed to the protesting farmers on February 8 to call off their over two-month-long stir. He assured them to continue the purchase of their crops at MSP (Minimum Support Price).
I response to Prime Minister's appeal the farmers' union agitating against the three agriculture laws asked the government to fix a date for the next round of talks.
The farmers and the government should amicably solve the issue for the larger interest of people.

During the full-scale protests in New Delhi over the three farm bills the Canadian Prime Minister poked his nose and shed crocodile tears over the plight of so called farmers in India. His tweets were against the Indian government and more particularly against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now the things have changed topsy turvy. The same Canadian Prime Minister who is sympathizer of the Khalistani terrorists who are out to create unrest in India has begged India for Covid-19 vaccines for his country. He being unable to control the situation in his country in rising number of cases of Covid-19 has appealed to his counterpart in India. Same is the case with Rihanna, the Barbados popstar. India under able leadership of Narendra Modi has gifted vaccines to her country. This is true colour of global leader and power of Modi.
