Matter to ponder
Before the abrogation of Article 370, Jammu and Kashmir stood as a state with special rights. Kashmir was the land of Kashyap Rishi, one of the Saptarishis mentioned in the Rigveda. Anantnag was the land of Shesha Naga, King of Nagas. Srinagar was called Surya (Sun) Nagar. Baramulla (earlier Varaha Mul) was named after the Varaha avatar of Vishnu. So, historically, Kashmir was always a Hindu land connected to mainland India. It is a very sad story that Hindus were wiped out from the valley. There was no trace of Islam in Kashmir until the 14th century when infiltrated Muslims came and wiped out Hindus. We cannot imagine Assam's indigenous people facing the similar fate of Kashmiri pundits.
There is no point in mentioning repeatedly how left minded historians played with our school history books. Every school textbook taught was who killed Mahatma Gandhi. But why aren't taught who killed Guru Tegh Bahadur? Who murdered Guru Gobind Singh, Guru Arjan Dev? Why killers of Chhatrapati Shivaji's son Sambhaji were hidden from us? Geography can change but history cannot. The left-oriented historians knew this line very well so they hide everything which didn't suit their agendas.

Public grievances redressal in Assam
The Assam Government is launching various flagship initiatives to redress the grievances of the general public and eradicate corruption. However, as per information received under the "Right to Information Act" application submitted by the undersigned during 2020-2021, the total number of grievances registered in the CPGRAMS portal against the Assam Government (as of 23 December 21) is 14,144, and out of those only 1,360 have been disposed, and 12,784 are still pending. This shows the government is lagging to resolve the grievances. The Government should pay attention to these grievances because these are the actual performance audit report of various schemes.

Shocking explosion
It's shocking to hear the explosion in an internal compartment onboard destroyer INS Ranvir (commissioned in April 1986) at Naval Dockyard Mumbai. Such onboard explosions led to the loss of highly experienced three senior sailors Krishan Kumar MCPO I, Surinder Kumar MCPO II & AK Singh MCPO II, who succumbed to injuries (had got stuck under debris created by the explosion) and 11 injured, besides damage to the warship is unacceptable. The Union Defence Ministry said that a board of inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the incident. As per the report, the explosion was not related to weapons or ammunition. It's high time the authorities got into the roots and plug the loopholes instituted stringent measures and formulate stringent SOPs. I offer my condolences to the families of the departed. Wishing quick and complete recovery for the injured!
