Lust for power & money

The recent death of dreaded gangster Vikash Pandey Kanpurwala has brought forward how a gangster met his death after chasing for life.

Society plays a very significant role in the shaping of an individual. Feelings of neglect, deprivation etc bring out the dreaded side of an individual and once it comes to life, it is very difficult to return to normalcy.

Disparity exists in our families and society. The need to prove one's supremacy over others makes us run after money and power. Slowly it becomes a way of life and the family becomes webbed amongst all these and has to suffer from the consequences for a lifetime.

One should always meet his death in a nice way irrespective of his birth. The life curve that one paints for self during his journey determines his end days, because ultimately one cannot fool oneself.

Spiritual knowledge is very much essential for today's generation, including ours. These are disturbing and trying times. Schools and other educational institutions should also incorporate this subject in the curriculum.

When a person is spiritually inclined, the mind cools down and many grave mistakes can be avoided. Our cinematic media also bear a responsibility towards the society and mere commercialization and vulgar movies shown for popularity will only degrade the thought process of our budding youths.

Reaching out to others in times of need, respect for elderly are something that our society has been bestowed with for ages. Slowly, it is showing a declining trend with most getting hooked to cellphones and corona confining us into the four walls of the home.

Abnormal behaviour needs to be checked so that precious lives get moulded in a good way and they can lead to normal lives.

Lust for power and money cannot last a lifetime because no one is immortal. One has to face one's karma (outcome of deeds). We are blessed to be born as human beings and have got the faculties to decide what is good and what is bad for us. The imprints cannot be erased, nor can one flatten one's crime curve. It is better to be careful about the imprints we are making in the process of our journey of life.
