Sanitation of public conveniences

Swachh Bharat Mission is a revolutionary step of the Government of India, but government departments do not maintain sanitation in their offices. Some women employees in Madhya Pradesh complained to a Cabinet Minister that the toilet reserved for them in the office building was not cleaned regularly and they were thus inconvenienced. The Minister inspected the toilet and found it dirty. After this, he cleaned the toilet and presented an example to all for awareness of sanitation. It shows that government officers have not been concerned about matters related to the sanitation of office buildings. The government should take special care of public conveniences made available to staff in offices, especially for women and differently-abled employees.
