Women not only juggle with jobs, roles as well!

As women, we are a mysterious lot. We're also known as 'Ardhangini' of a man. From childhood, we play different roles, as we are groomed to go to better homes. For the same, schooling starts regarding cooking, needle works, etiquettes and many more. Slowly, she grows up, ready to get married and play her role in her in-laws place. With the demand of time, a demure lady effectively plays the role of Laxmi, Saraswati, Kaali and maybe at times the role of Lady Macbeth.

Somewhere, with the rush of life, to outdo each other, we unknowingly overstep. We start crushing many lives with us, maybe without introspection. We lose valuable relationships, a home gets divided. An uneasy calmness prevails where behaviour becomes more formal.

But, where are we heading for? What do we gain from this massive ego? Where does love and respect stand here? What is its value?

Monetary aspects become the dominant factor and competitive environment starts breeding in our homes. Better home, better car, better amenities...the list is never-ending. But at the end, we lose those voices that matter in the pursuit of materialistic gain.

Was it the world that this woman dreamt? No. It is high time we gave priority to our homes and our extended families, as our mother did. It will strengthen our roots and love will flourish and lives will be better around us and many unfortunate happenings of today can be drastically reduced.
