BJP MLA Niraj Singh Babloo says witnesses in Sushant Singh Rajput's case might get killed

Guwahati: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Niraj Singh Babloo has claimed that witnesses in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case might get killed.

Niraj Singh Babloo, MLA in Bihar and cousin of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput on Tuesday claimed that witnesses in Sushant's case are being threatened and might be killed. "Mumbai police is not providing protection to them", he claimed.

"Witnesses are being threatened and the Mumbai police are not providing protection to them. The way the things are unfolding, the witness should be given police protection," Niraj Singh Babloo said.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and others in the connection with the actor's death after the Centre accepted the Bihar government's recommendation to transfer the probe.

Meanwhile, lawyer Vikas Singh, has claimed that "there are very high chances that the late actor's death was a murder"

An FIR was registered in Patna on a complaint filed against Rhea Chakraborty, by KK Singh, father of Sushant Singh Rajput under sections related to abetment to suicide and keeping him the wrongful confinement, and defrauding him for corers of rupees. The actor was found dead on June 14 at his Mumbai residence.
