'Aarya 2' Sushmita Sen is Back with her Sherni Character

Aarya Season 2 is streaming now after becoming as one of India's most riveting thrillers and receiving an International Emmy nomination for outstanding drama series. The teaser is  full with unexpected surprises, which makes it one of the most awaited OTT series.

The Review

The story of 'Aarya Season 2' begins with her children under Witness Protection, Sushmita Sen is fleeing from one nation to the next. However, there is no such thing as safety. The authorities then transport him to India, where he will testify against his father and be protected. She, on the other hand, refuses to testify against her father. As a result, the police scene shifts. Arya loses her brother, and she is held responsible for everything. In the end, though, Arya decides to take command of the entire command. As a result, the entire scene alters.

Sushmita Sen's the lead heroine in Aarya Season 2 stares in the mirror at the stinging anguish on her face as she delicately lowers her shirt to reveal a new, oozing gunshot wound on her shoulder in the first 15 minutes. Her scream and attitude indicate that it's a familiar pain, as if she's probing an old wound before allowing it to heal.

with Aarya returning to India from Australia, where she was seeking asylum with her three children, to testify against her father and brother, who are implicated in a multi-billion dollar narcotics cartel. However, a weak moment can result in the release of a can of worms.

Her father, who killed her husband Tej (Chandrachur Singh), her brother Sangram, who is eyeing their ancestral property, Uday Singh Shekhawat, the father of the powerful dealer Aarya, and the Russians, who are looking for stolen drugs worth Rs 300 crore from her company. To make matters worse, ACP Khan (Vikas Kumar) is lurking in the shadows, looking for an opportunity to swat Aarya down. The number of villains increase the thrill of the film as no one knows, who is planning what.

Aarya is an official version of the Dutch serial "Penoza," which tells the narrative of a lady who transforms from a housewife and mother to a don. While maintaining faithful to the core idea, the writers (Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh and Anu Singh Choudhary) have expertly weaved in the ups and downs of Aarya's life, as well as the shifting equations of love, loyalty, betrayal, and family relationships. The writing isn't particularly good, but it's well-executed. The characters are well-written and, as the storey progresses, you begin to like them. However, for the most part, the show moves at a leisurely pace and fails to create the kind of suspense that one would anticipate from a thriller.

Sushmita convincingly portrays Aarya's several avatars, including a bereaved wife, a worried mother, and a fierce woman fighting with crime lords. Sen's powers are highly dependent in this crime drama, as they were in the precursor. Throughout the presentation, Sen maintained a serene, vulnerable, and tall presence, despite the fact that it was punctuated with action-packed antics.

The second season is a parody of the first. It trembles, but never succumbs to the genre black hole it seeks to illuminate from the outside. And, if this is any indication, the old Bollywood tunes are still present, firmly rooted in the story, as well as shining.
