AR Rahman's Daughter Khatija Rahman Gets Engaged to Audio Engineer Riyasdeen Shaik

Khatija Rahman the eldest daughter of a popular Indian film composer, AR Rahman got engaged to an audio engineer named Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed.

The engagement took place on the special day of Khatija's birthday on Wednesday 29 December 2021 in presence of close friends and family members.

A fan club shared the inside pictures of the AR Rahman daughter's intimate engagement ceremony on social media. In the photo shared, the newly engaged couple were seen sitting on white couches and looking towards the camera and in the background, a photo of Khatija was displayed on a big screen,

On Sunday 2 January, Khatija and her fiance Riyasdeen announced their engagement writing on social media where Khajita expressed her happiness sharing with fans that she is engaged with Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed who is wizkid audio engineer and an entrepreneur by profession.

She further informed that the engagement was held on 29 December in presence of loved ones and family members. The music maestro AR Rahman's daughter also mentioned that the day was her birthday when she got engaged.

Many of the well-known personalities from the music industry including Harshdeep Kaur, Chinmayi Sripada, Jonita Gandhi and Neeti Mohan extended their best wishes for Khatija for her new journey and showered blessing upon the newly engaged couple.

Khatija sang the Tamil song 'Pudhiya Manidha' from the 2010 film Ethiran and it was her debut song which was composed by her father AR Rahman. In the year 2021, she sang the song 'Rock a Bye Baby for Mimi' along with Julia Kartha featuring actress Kriti Sanon and this song was also composed by AR Rahman.

Khatija's father is a predominant personality in the Hindi as well as the Tamil film industry. He is a record producer, songwriter and singer who is known for his massive contribution to the world of music. He was awarded Padma Bhushan in the year 2010 by the Indian government.
