GUWAHATI: Hrithik Roshan demonstrated his fighting prowess in the streets of Lucknow while playing the ruthless gangster of 'Vikram Vedha.' He has now selected the skies as his much more ambitious setting for showcasing his acting abilities. The actor will begin filming Fighter, an airborne action thriller, more than a year after it was first announced.

According to sources, Siddharth Anand, the film's director, will start production on the picture in Assam on November 18. "Hrithik has a flight to Assam scheduled for today. The director has planned a 10-day itinerary through the state of the northeast. Co-stars Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor will meet the leading man at the air force station that has been selected as the location of the film, according to a source.

Roshan's debut film with Kapoor and Padukone, "Fighter," celebrates their working together. Although sources claim that the elder actor plays the character of Roshan's mentor, the two leads will be shown as Indian Air Force pilots. It is a well-known fact that the starring male meticulously plans his films. Nobody is exempt from Fighter.

The first schedule is preceded by a rigorous three-month program Roshan followed to build a slim physique for the actioner. "The actor started his physical preparation in August, and he now has a lithe body," the source continues. He had established November 9 as his deadline with trainer Kris Gethin, and he met his fitness objective well before that date.

The individual won't start working on the movie again until 2023, even though the initial schedule will be finished by November's end. Pathaan is the main cause behind it.

Additionally, Shah Rukh Khan will make his return to the big screen after more than four years in the director's passion project, to which he will devote the months of December and January 2023. Anand won't start concentrating on the Roshan-starrer movie again until after the spy thriller opens on January 25.

Anand has worked with Padukone in Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008) and the upcoming Pathaan, while he has worked with Roshan on Bang Bang (2014) and War (2019), both of which were successes.
