Tiku Weds Sheru: Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Lip-Lock with 21-Year-Old Avneet Kaur Shocked Viewers

MUMBAI: Tiku Weds Sheru, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur, has released its long-awaited trailer, and the film is already gaining a lot of interest. Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika Films produces the film, which marks Avneet Kaur's Bollywood debut. The film tells the odd love tale of a struggling Mumbai junior actor and his spouse.

Netizens saw Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur's chemistry when the film's trailer was released. However, their lip-lock in the film surprised spectators, and many chastised the filmmakers for it. Many people were taken aback by Nawazuddin Siddiqui's lip lock with 27-year-old Avneet. Some thought it was disgusting, while others thought it was paedophilia.

The film is Kangana's first project under her producing company, Manikarnika Films and it was directed and written by Sai Kabir, and it stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur for the first time despite their 27-year age difference. Nawazuddin was previously portrayed as Shiraz Khan Afghani alias Sheru in the film's early posters. In contrast, Avneet will play Tasleem Khan, also known as Tiku, in the film.

Kangana Ranaut recently said that she and Irrfan Khan were meant to star in the upcoming comedy-drama 'Tiku Weds Sheru'. She stated that the project was initially titled 'Divine Lovers'. " This is really unusual. This film has already been released. Originally, Irrfan Sahab and I planned to collaborate on this project. It had to have been six or seven years ago.. " You all attended its premiere, and the picture was dubbed 'Divine Lovers' at the time." the actor-producer told reporters.

Meanwhile, Avneet Kaur will make her Bollywood debut in Tiku Weds Sheru. Kangana Ranaut is an investor in the film. The actress had an emotional breakdown at the film's trailer launch on Wednesday, sharing that she worked really hard for her debut film and was grateful to Kangana Ranaut for providing her this opportunity.
