Sikkim Talent to Star in Nepali Productions - Some Interesting Artists from Sikkim to Crossover in Nepal

Talents from Indian state of Sikkim and neighbouring Nepal have created some interesting collaborations with many successful crossover acts.

GANGTOK: Nepali artists and Indian artists from the Sikkim region of India often collaborate on various songs, movies, singles and reality television

Leezum Lepcha, an actress from Sikkim who is gaining increasing visibility in the local entertainment circuits, has broken into Nepal's film industry. Confirmation arrived today that Leezum has been signed for a music video to star alongside an established star, Dayahang Rai. The music video featuring Dayahang and Leezum will be set to the song, Jogi, by Uday Sotang.

In fact, she is not the first one slated to be featured in Nepal, in the past many talents from the Indian Himalayan state create their mark in the Nepali entertainment industry. 

- SUKMIT GURUNG - She is an Indian singer in the Nepali language from Sikkim. She has several super hit songs and albums in Nepal since the 1980s. Her hit albums include "Paiyu Phulda Jore Pari","O Mero Priyatam","Masakka Maskera","Chiso Batas","Badal Pariko Desh Ma". One of the famous Nepali Modern Classical, Nepali pop and Nepali movies playback singers. Sukmit Gurung was a household name during the 1990s. Although she does not come into the media world as frequently as she used to, she still is a popular singer known to most of the Nepalese population.

- GEETA SHARMASinger Geeta Sharma, participant at television regality show Voice of Nepal - Season II. She reached the finale and mesmerised the Nepali audiences in many performances on television. 

-RAVI GHATRAJ - He is a young singer from Sikkim who entered the top 8 of the singing reality show Voice Nepal season 3 this year. His had earned a good fan base in Nepal with his melodious singing. 

-BKEY AGARWALComedian Bkey Agarwal from Mangan, North Sikkim, became the first runner up in Nepal's Comedy Champion season 2 finale concluded this year. Agarwal is a YouTube content creator, short-film maker, and stand-up comedian. His multi-talented personality has earned him legions of admirers.
