Actor Sanjay Dutt will be seen sharing the silver screen along with his Saajan co-star Madhuri Dixit Nene after a long period of over 21 years in their forthcoming film Kalank. The film’s teaser gives glimpses of the 2 actors although not within the same frame. However, the actor has confirmed that they have a scene together in the film and calls working together with her an ‘amazing’ experience.

On being asked regarding how it was to work together with her, Sanjay Dutt told the media with a smile, “Working together with her is a pleasure. What's the time-frame that we hadn’t met or seen every other? 20 years, maybe a touch a lot of. Madhuri is such a good actor. I’ve done several films together with her like Thanedaar (1990), Saajan (1991), Khalnayak (1993), Mahaanta (1997)… I can’t even recall in one go. So, to work together with her once again in that one scene that we did along in Kalank was superb.”

Calling her a matured actor, he went on to feature, “She’s got that command as an actor. It’s a pleasure to share screen space together with her after so many years. Such a lot has gone past, folks have matured. She herself comes across as such a matured actor.”

Kalank is a sophisticated love story that additionally stars Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sonakshi Sinha. Varun plays Zafar within the film who falls in love with Alia’s character Roop who eventually gets married to Aditya’s character Dev within the film.
