Bheemla Nayak Release Date Postponed: News Dates Announced For Pawan Kalyan Starrer

The much-awaited Telugu thriller 'Bheemla Nayak' directed by Saagar K. Chandra starring Pawan Kalyan will be released on 25 February 2022. The makers of the film earlier announced the release date as 12 January 2021 to be released in theatres.

Bheemla Nayak, written by Trivikram Srinivas is the remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyam, a 2020 Malayalam action-drama. The film cast includes popular Telugu stars Rana Daggubati and Pawan Kalyan in lead roles and Nithya Menon in an important role.

Bheemla Nayak was scheduled to be one of the big Sankranthi releases along with other two films Radhe Shyam starring Prabhas and RRR by Rajamouli. RRR will be released on the big screen on 7 January and Radhe Shyam is scheduled to release on 14 January.

In view of reducing the competition for screen between the three big movies in January next year, the Telugu Film Producers' Guild headed by Dil Raju declared on Tuesday 21 December that the makers of Bheemla Nayak have agreed and decided for the postponement of the film.

In the press conference on Tuesday, Dil Raju thanked the makers of Bheemla Nayak for delaying their film release date and avoiding the box office clash. Earlier the producers' Guild requested the makers and actor Pawan Kumar for the postponement of their film keeping in mind the availability of theatres in Telugu states and considering all other factors.

During his discussion with the media, Dil Raju said that the Producers' Guild has been working to solve the issue in connection to film releases between producers since the start of the global pandemic COVID-19. The films Radhe Shyam and RRR started production around 3 years ago and therefore the release dates will remain the same.

The release date decided now as 25 February clashes with comedy film F3 produced by Raju and the same will be postponed to other dates which will be announced later. The covid pandemic in the last 2 two years has seriously affected the theatres across the country including the Telugu film industry.
