Adult Filmstar Stormy Daniels Ordered To Pay Legal Fee To Trump After Losing Defamation Case

WASHINGTON: Donald Trump, a former US president, prevailed in court in his case against Stormy Daniels, an adult film star. The 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals in California ordered Ms. Daniels to pay more than $121,000 to the legal counsel for Donald Trump.

He has won a defamation lawsuit brought by Ms. Daniels. The adult movie star has already paid the Trump attorneys over $500,000 in court-ordered installments. She had sued the former president for defamation, but she had been unsuccessful. The ruling was given on the same day Donald Trump was charged with 34 counts in a Manhattan court regarding alleged payments of hush money to Daniels to conceal a rumoured romance.

Regarding the alleged payments, 34 counts of falsifying business documents were brought against Trump.

The former US president, Donald Trump, was charged with a crime following claims that he gave money to a pornographic actress while running for president in 2016. The incident was a meeting between Trump and former porn star Stormy Daniels at a golf event for famous people in Lake Tahoe.

The majority of the information about this meeting was disclosed by Ms. Daniels in her autobiographical book, "Full Disclosure." She alleges having had sex with Mr. Trump, a claim that the Republican leader adamantly refutes. Donald Trump and Stormy Daniels can be seen posing together in a porn studio booth in a photo that was shot at the time.

At the time, Ms. Daniels was employed by this studio as a "greeter." Mr. Trump was 60 years old, and Ms. was 27. Mr. Trump may be seen in the image sporting a red hat, a yellow polo shirt, and khaki slacks. Ms. Daniels is standing next to him and is decked up in a form-fitting black top.

The encounter with Ms. Daniels took place four months after Barron, the couple's son, was born to Melania Trump and Donald Trump. Mr. Trump's security allegedly asked Ms. Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, to visit his penthouse on the golf course.

In exchange for Ms. Daniels' silence over the 2006 tryst, Michael Cohen, who has now turned against Mr. Trump, allegedly arranged for her to receive a $130,000 "hush money" payment.
