New Delhi: Chinese researchers have reportedly developed an Artificial Device (AI) that can test the loyalty of Communist Party Members.

According to media reports, the device has been developed by researchers at Hefei Comprehensive National Science Centre.

The device is capable of analyzing facial expressions and brain waves of Communist Party Members to determine how receptive they are to 'thought education'.

As per a report by RFA, a short video was uploaded to the Webio account of Hefei Comprehensive National Science Centre on June 30, claiming that the project was an example of artificial intelligence empowering party-building.

However, the post was deleted after some time, but reportedly the text summary of the video, produced in honor of the CCP's July 1 anniversary, remained available on the internet Archive on Monday.

As per the text, the device can ascertain the levels of concentration by using a kind of smart ideology, and AI technology to extract and integrate facial expressions, ECG readings, and skin conductivity.

"It can provide real data for organizers of ideological and political education, so they can keep improving their methods of education and enrich content," the text added.

The text further claims the device relies on ''emotionally intelligent computing'', among other methods, to measure to what extent subjects adding, ''feel grateful to the CCP, do as it tells them and follow its lead.

As per RFA, Hong Kong's Ming Pao newspaper reported a video, wherein, it can be seen that a researcher walks into a room and sits in front of a screen to take a test, before receiving a test score and analysis onscreen.

However, before the post was deleted, there were some comments terming the idea as "high-tech brainwashing".

Meanwhile, Anhui-based sociologist Song Da'an claimed that the post was removed due to its political sensitivity, adding, ''Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center has been using biotechnology to measure the loyalty of party members and cadres."
