Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Angela Merkel holds video conference

ISTANBUL: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and German Chancellor Angela Merkel helsd a video conference during which they discussed the Covid-19 pandemic and other regional issues. According to Turkey's Directorate of Communications, Erdogan told Merkel on Friday that Ankara continues its vaccination program against the coronavirus at a rapid pace, and a gradual and controlled normalisation process has already started, Xinhua news agency reported.
