MOSCOW: Amid the Russian and Ukraine war, Russia has been continuously shelling the major cities of Ukraine attacking civilians and refugees.

In one such Russian bombardment and unfortunate incident, Ukrainian actor Pasha Lee has been reportedly killed at Irpin town located outside Kyiv city.

33-year-old Ukrainian film star Pasha Lee was a resident of Irpin known for his acting in several movies and television shows.

Lee joined the territorial defence force of Ukraine in the initial days of the conflict and took up arms to fight Russian forces in protecting the country.

On Wednesday 9 March, BBC reported about the death of Pasha Lee sharing information about the bombardment in Irpin near the capital city that led to the loss of a notable Ukrainian actor.

According to reports, Russian artillery causing casualties has been continuously bombarding the region of Irpin city for days.

On Tuesday 8 March, the people residing in Irpin managed to move to other places outside the town to reach safety amid huge bombardment. They came out as part of the Russian evacuation corridor as they headed towards Poltava, the central city of Ukraine.

Pasha Lee has worked in several Ukrainian movies and he gave voice for the Ukrainian version of the adventure fantasy film series 'The Hobbit' and musical drama 'The Lion King.' The actor also played a major role in television talents reality shows like X-Factor and Star Factor.

A few days ago, Lee posted a link to a Ukrainian refugee charity asking and encouraging followers to volunteer and approach for aid at this difficult time.

In his last post on Instagram, Lee posted a photo along with his colleague where he wrote a caption of hopes that reads, "We'll be ok and everything will be Ukraine."

Meanwhile, in response to the Russian brutal invasion of Ukraine, the United States President Joe Biden on Tuesday announced a total ban on Russian imports of fuel, gas and energy to the US targeting the main route of Russia's economy
