KARACHI: Rattled by the diplomatic onslaught of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the United Nations, Pakistani leaders and politicians are struggling to come up with coherent answers. The opposition has criticized Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan for his recent UN speech which they considered to be lackluster, especially on the issue of Kashmir. They alleged that Khan did not say or do what was needed on the issue. Stung by the criticism, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail told reporters that Khan did all that was possible. “What else could Khan have done? Shot Modi?” Ismail retorted, adding that “Khan raised the Kashmir issue to make the world aware about it. This has raised the morale of Kashmiris. They recognise Khan as a leader of Muslims.”(IANS)
