Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary comprises of over 40 species of the beautiful Rhododendron flowers and from April to June clusters of colorful Rhododendrons adorn the entire valley and creates a picture that you will forever cherish in your memory.

2. Gangtok
Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim and has a lot to offer to the people visiting the place. The place preserves the Buddhists culture and heritage really well and the Rumtek Monastery and the Enchey monasteries are proofs of it.

3. Green Lake

As you stroll inside the Buddha Park, you will see a 130 feet high Buddha statue in Yoga position.
Other Buddhist heritage sites include the Bo monastery and the Ralang monastery.

5. Pelling
Pelling too i8s a small town in Sikkim but unparalleled in its beauty. The town is surrounded by the snowcapped mountains and lush green vegetation envelop the town, steeping it in natural beauty.
The most popular point of interest in Pelling is the Pemyangtse monastery, which is approximately three hundred years old. Take a stroll from the Pemyangtse monastery and you will reach the Rabdantse ruins. This place used to be the second capital of the earlier Sikkim Kingdom.

6. Lachung
Lachung is not that popular as a tourist place, but will definitely spark an interest for the offbeat wanderers.
This mountain village remains covered in snow almost all times of the year and lies in the far Northern corner of Sikkim, close to the Tibet border.
Mount Katao is about twenty five kilometers from this village and from the Katao viewpoint, the views of the Kanchenjunga ranges is simply breathtaking.
Head 50 kilometers further from Lachung and you will come to the end of Sikkim civilization point or the Zero point. This region is almost always ice covered.
7. Singalia
Singalia is home to the famous Singalia National Park. It is a popular national park in Sikkim and houses mammals like the Red Pandas. Red Pandas can only be found in the Himalayan region.
It is not just the mammals that dwell in the park but a variety of avian species as well. If you love bird watching, you can head to Singalia National Park and sit down with your binoculars to spot species like the fire-tailed myzornis, Himalayan griffon, the blood pheasant or the tragopan.
8. Zuluk
Zuluk is located in the East Himalayan region close to Gangtok. It falls en route to the Nathula Pass.
The iconic mountain path, the Silk Route lies in Zuluk. The road has 32 hairpin bends and leads you to the Nathula Pass. Along the route, you will come across some of the most panoramic views.
If you want to get an unobstructed view of the entire Silk Route then make way to Thambi View Point. From here you can witness the Silk Route in all its glory.
9. Lachen
Lachen is another offbeat location in Sikkim. This place is often frequented and very few people go to visit the village. Lachen is mainly a trekking base and seemingly has no tourist attraction spot.
