NEW DELHI: After growing weary of being harassed by a young man named Irfan, a 19-year-old girl from Khoda, Ghaziabad, committed herself on Monday night. According to rumours, Irfan seduced and ensnared the girl into a relationship before filming her and posting a private video of her online.

The girl's father filed a lawsuit and disclosed that Irfan often harassed the deceased when she travelled to junior college. The daughter, who had grown tired of this, had reported the event to the Khoda Police station, but her father claims that the police didn't take the matter seriously.

The girl's father claimed she reported something to the police on Saturday, but that the police disregarded her accusation. "The Police asked us to gather the proof and also to locate Irfan. Then we went back home. When she was left alone with her two younger siblings on Monday night, my daughter committed herself, the father said.

The police arrived at the scene as well and got to work on the inquiry. They sent the girl's deceased body for a postmortem and found out she had come to file a complaint in the case. The Police claimed that because she insisted on first arresting the accused in the case, she was instead instructed to submit a written report.

After the video went viral on social media platforms, the girl may have committed suicide, according to a statement made by the police on Monday. "The dead body has been taken into possession as part of advanced legal action. Teams have been organised to arrest the subject by filing a case based on the family's complaint. The case is being investigated, according to Swatantra Kumar Singh, assistant commissioner of police in Indirapuram.

Additionally, he stated that every possible aspect is being investigated. "On the basis of the evidence, legal action will be conducted against the accused. The police officers' carelessness will also be investigated. Action will be taken against the police officers as well if they are proven guilty, he promised.

Irfan and his friends are car drivers and drug addicts, according to other Hindu groups who also took notice of the incident. Additionally, they frequently harass and taunt women. The Hindu members stated, "We will bring the deceased to justice if the Police do not act in this case.
