7-Yr-Old Odisha Boy Clears Microsoft Technology Associate Examination

Balangir (Odisha): All of us are aware of child prodigies, or one can call them as wonder children. These kids are much ahead of their age, doing things which are mostly done by people much older to them. These extraordinarily talented children amaze us with their work, and inspire everyone.

One such kid is Venkat Raman Patnaik from Balangir, Odisha. Raman is a seven-year-old boy, who has cleared the Microsoft Technology Associate Examination. MTA certification is an entry-level credential that validates fundamental technology skills and knowledge among students and also, job-seekers who are pursuing a career in technology. The test is designed to assess and validate core technical concepts in three primary areas: Developer, Database, and IT Professional.

To achieve this feat is a big deal for an adult, so, when it comes to a 7-year-old, it becomes all more special.

Raman, a student of Class 3, is home-schooled from Whitehar Jr. He cleared the MTA exam for introduction to programming in Java, Javascript, Python, HTML, CSS and database administration fundamentals.

Raman joined WhiteHat Jr in March 2019, and he attended around 160 classes.

Raman's teacher, Jatinder Kaur said that Raman picked up the essence of coding from day one. His achievement is a rare one.

The kids learn the fundamentals of coding--logic, structure, sequence and algorithmic thinking--to generate creative outcomes like animations and apps.
