72% Indians Prefer To Work From Office: Survey
NEW DELHI: A survey conducted by Linkedin in different
companies across India has found that 72% of people consider work from the office.
The survey was conducted by over 1, 000 employees working for various companies.
During the survey, it was found that 71% people feels that working from office helps them creating a good and favourable impression on their bosses. Similarly, 72% think that by going to the office, they can also participate in the fun moments that are a part of regular office life, which is missing at home.
Noida bases resident Ravikant Barua who is working in a the multinational company was working from home soon after the Covid-19 pandemic cases started.
Ravi has completely agreed with the survey result as he feels that meeting with bosses physically would help to review your work and feedback.
"One can also showcase one's achievements better in office, he feels, and consequently, this leads to a growth in career, both in terms of designation and salary", he said.
During the survey, it was found that around 55% of employees
feels that working in office, can help each other to learn so many things which
is not possible in home.
The report of the survey has also revealed that 35% employees said that the
work pressure has also increased when you work from home and it takes a long
time even beyond the shift. 34% employees said that they working from home make
additional stress.
But while these people want to get back to office, most want a combination of both – working from both office and home. 86% of those surveyed said they would prefer a hybrid work culture, which will help employees to balance all aspects of their lives.
