Ayodhya Deepotsav 2021: Diwali Celebrations in Ayodhya Ram Mandir

Diwali is a festival of lights celebrated with great enthusiasm by the people across the country with the hope of bringing wealth and prosperity. Ayodhya will celebrate the 5th grand Diwali celebration this year. The celebration of Deepotsav as a part of Diwali 2021 has already started in Ram Mandir Ayodhya with Diyas being lit up across the bank of River Saryu. According to sources Ayodhya has targeted to light up over nine lakh of Diyas in its area to celebrate Diwali 2021.

Devotees at the Ram Mandir are working day and night with full efforts for a successful and prosperous Diwali this year. The preparations and hard works show how grand the celebration of Diwali is going to be held in Ayodhya in 2021. On Wednesday 3 November, Yogi Adithyanath Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh addressed the Deepotsav celebration in Ayodhya wishing a very happy Diwali to everyone.

Various sources also suggest that the huge Diwali celebration in Ayodhya will be enlightened along with a special and unique display of 500 drones that will present the scenes of Ramayana in the sky. To stage the performance of Ram Lila a cultural group from Sri Lanka has been invited to Ayodhya during the occasion of Diwali. From 1st November to 5th November numerous activities related to culture, tradition, and literacy will be held in Ayodhya.

The entry of vehicles in Ayodhya is banned during the celebrations apart from officials and VIPs, the cars must be parked 1km away from Ram Katha Park and borders have been sealed.

The grand celebration this year with lighting up 7.51 earthen lamps is definitely going to make its entry into the Guinness book of the world record and the administration will light up nine lakh Diyas to make sure that no issue arises. Last year the Deepotsav celebration in Ayodhya has created the world record of lighting up 6 lakh Diyas.
